Snow Day

This was the first day in February. It was sort of rain and snow mixed together, but later that night we got even better snow. Savannah loves the snow and she just stares at it outside her window. She begs to go outside and just loves catching the flakes on her tongue!

Texas Tech Cheerleaders!!

Savannah LOVES to play dress up and of course we have way too many Tech cheer outfits. So when her buddy Abigail came over to play they had so much fun pretending to be cheerleaders and doing jumps and cheers together. Since Abigail comes from a a die-hard Aggie family I thought I might get in a bit of trouble, but of course they loved the pictures!

Little Ballerina

Savannah absolutely loves going to ballet and tap class. I think what she likes most is all of the pink she gets to wear!! There is this tiny window that the moms can watch from and its always the same moms up there watching their little girls. It has been fun chatting with them as we watch the girls. Also, Savannah loves the noise that her tap shoes make. They are currently learning a routine to be performed on stage in June!! We cant wait!

Date Night for us and a sleepover for the girls at Nana's!!

Of course this is what date night looks like for us... pictures of the girls having fun when we are away!! My mom has been great about watching the girls for us about once a month so we can go have a normal conversation! It takes awhile to get back to normal conversation. We find ourselves sitting there not saying much for the first 15 minutes of dinner... and then we just cant stop talking!! Funny thing though... most of our conversation is about the girls and we start wondering what they are doing... Maybe we should go pick them up early??? Nah!!! :) So we went to see Dreamgirls on this date night and we were SHOCKED that ticket prices were $7.50!!! Seriously, we couldnt get over it. I guess thats how long its been since we have seen a movie, but we decided that we wont be seeing anymore movies on date night. We have to enjoy the conversation with eachother while we can.
