We love going to NB for the weekend and we just wish we could get down there more. We had so much fun visiting with everyone. We went to "the island" on Saturday morning and got to swim in the chilly water. Savannah and Lexi Ann loved playing in the sand. Savannah and Granny spent some time finding cool rocks for Savannah's fish!! They even found a pink one!! After the girls napped, Savannah got to go on a special trip with Granny and Lauren to the children's museum. We ate pizza with all the cousins and watched them play and have a great time together. They love running from the playroom to the back rooms trying to find somebody that is hiding. On Saturday night, Dave and I got the special treat of walking around Gruene for about an hour. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!! We love it there. We listened to some music and enjoyed the perfect weather. On Mothers Day, Granny cooked an amazing breakfast (again) and we drove home. If only NB was just a little bit closer to the Big D... we would probably be down there all the time!!! Its a mini vacation for us!
